There are many things to consider when selecting a full-service vendor for your valued staff and employees.  Not only product selection and pricing, but the quality of those products, service, maintenance, and cooperation between the two business partners.   Automatic Chef Canteen has maintained these objectives since our beginning in 1961!   And, with our Central Waco office/warehouse and maintenance/technician depot in Temple we are ready to service YOUR location!  Automatic Chef Canteen employees 50 full-time employees:  allowing “on demand” services to our entire service areas.

Our first responsibility is to our customer.  The success or failure of the company and the employees will be measured by the manner in which we meet our responsibilities to the customer, and to the people with whom we do business, and to each other.  All employees are drug tested and a background check is conducted on each employee before hiring.  We have quarterly random drug testing to ensure safety and high standards of conduct.  Our business philosophy of freshness, quality, and creativity separates us from our competitors, and also provides the incentive to work on a one-to-one basis with each of our customers.  Our ability to work on a one-to-one basis, allows us flexibility and options in order to accommodate the needs of each location.

Automatic Chef Canteen complies with sanitation standards established by U. S. Public Health Service, in addition to applicable Federal, State and Municipal Laws, Codes, and Regulations.  Sanitation is good practice.  We do it to protect our customers and to show pride in our work.  We buy from reputable sources, store properly and transport in a safe and sanitary manner.

We realize the importance that companies put on advertising.  People buy with their eyes; therefore, we buy products that we recognize and are most familiar with.  Our staff spends a great deal of time researching, testing, and seeking out the highest quality and most popular items to be sold to our customers.  In order to assure we are vending the most popular items, weekly computer tracking is recorded on every item sold in our machines.  We offer nationally known products, as well as local and regional favorites.

Our state-of-the-art vending equipment offers a wide variety of products to our customers:  All machines are equipped with validators that accept $1.00 and $5.00 bills as well as the dollar coins.  We are also installing “bill recyclers” that will accept up to a $20.00 bill and return paper money instead of coins.

We have invested in new technology, Cantaloupe, that allows us to know exactly when and what every machine needs before our route personnel get to the equipment.  Each machine is equipped with a small transmitter that “pings” our system every hour.  Product for each machine is pre-picked and sent out each day to be placed in the equipment.  Fewer errors and fewer shortages; equates to better service and fresher product.

We have in-house mechanics, on call 24/7, for fast and reliable service and maintenance.  This allows for less “down-time” for our customers which translates to making your employees happier.
